The Napu Paribahan bus came under attack when it was crossing the Rural Electrification Board office with several vehicles in Tulsighat around 11:30pm on Friday, Sadar Police Station OC Rajiur Rahman said.

“All of the burnt were passengers of the bus. Of them, 11 were sent to Rangpur and the others to Gaibandha Sadar Hospital,” he said.

“Some of them are in pretty bad condition,” he added.

The bus left Sundarganj around 9:30pm.

It left Gaibandha Sadar Bus Terminal with several other vehicles escorted by police later on.
