PSC, Ebtedayee exams start

Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Ebtedayee examinations begin on Sunday with the English test.

The exam, which started at 11am, will end at 1:30pm. Children with disabilities, however, will get 20 minutes of extra time to write their answers.

2.7 million students will take the PSC tests and 311,265 will appear for the Ebtedayee examinations this year.

Primary and Mass Education Minister Mustafizur Rahman is set to visit the exam centres at Dhaka's Viqarunnisa Noon School,

Motijheel Govt Primary School and the Monipur School at Mirpur.

The minister had said on Sunday that any act of negligence and irregularities would draw necessary legal action.

He said printing and distribution of question papers were done under special security measures and that they were contemplating to complete the whole process digitally in future.

PSC schedule

English exam will be held on Nov 23, Bengali on Nov 24, Bangladesh and Global Studies on Nov 25, Elementary Science on Nov 26, Religion and Moral Education on Nov 27 and Mathematics on Nov 30.

Ebtedayee schedule

English exam will be held on Nov 23, Bengali on Nov 24, Paribesh Parichiti Samaj/ Paribesh Parichiti Biggyan on Nov 25, Arabic on Nov 26, Quran and Tajweed on Nov 27 and Aqaid and Fiqh on Nov 30.
