Lawyer Helal granted relief after apologising
A lawyer of the Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court has been exempted from serving a five-day jail term after he apologised for misbehaving with a judge.

Public Prosecutor Saiful Islam Helal was also fined Tk 200 by first Joint District Judge Nurunnahar Begum Sheuli on Thursday.
Her order came after Helal reportedly behaved disrespectfully towards her while debating a judgment against his client in a case involving a bounced cheque.
The matter was taken up for discussion by Dhaka lawyers’ committee, sessions judges Fazlul Haque and Nurunnahar, and leaders of the Bar Council.
Helal admitted to his fault and apologised before the judge, who let him off the hook.
