Police sub-inspector arrested with illegal gun in Dhaka
Rapid Action Battalion has arrested three people including a Special Branch sub-inspector of police with an illegal gun at Dhaka’s Uttara.

Arrested police officer Md Asaduzzaman is directly involved in gunrunning, RAB officials claimed.
The two other arrestees are Saiful Islam and Mahmudul Islam.
The trio was detained during a raid on an under-construction house at Uttara sector-6 on Wednesday afternoon, RAB-1 Commander Tuhin Mohammad Masud told bdnews24.com.
A 9mm gun and 13 rounds of bullets were seized from them, he said.
RAB Additional Director General Col Ziaul Ahsan told bdnews24.com that the arrests were results of RAB's sting operation to catch illegal arms trader.
He said, "RAB officials in disguise had first proposed to buy arms from the gang. The trio was arrested when the trade was taking place."
Legal measures were afoot against the SI and two others, Masud said.
