Salauddin Md Akram last served as Chuadanga Joint District Judge and had later been attached to the law ministry.
An order was out for his transfer to the post of Lalmonirhat Joint District Judge but the ministry took the disciplinary move against Akram on Aug 21 before he could take new assignment.
He has been sent to forced retirement under Section 4 (3) (B) of the Government Servants (Discipline & Appeal) Rule, 1985, said an order signed by the (acting) law secretary.
The ministry, however, did not disclose the misconduct for which he was being taken off.
Another notice by the ministry saud that Gazipur Additional District and Sessions Judge Md Munir Kamal has been transferred to the post of Shariatpur Additional District and Sessions judge as per ‘the advice of the Supreme Court’.
