2 UPDF activists killed
Two activists of the United People’s Democratic Front (UPDF) have been shot dead in Khagrachari district headquarters.

The incident took place around 8:30am on Saturday in Baaraitali village under Bhaibonchhara Union.
The dead were Notunmoy Chakma, 48, and Pratul Chakma Rocket, 35.
“We rushed to the spot in the morning and recovered the bodies. We could not arrest anybody yet,” said Khagrachari Sadar Police Station OC Mizanur Rahman.
UPDF blamed the Parbatya Chattagram Jana Sanghati Samiti (PCJSS- Santu Larma) for the attack.
PCJSS leader Sajib Chakma, however, denied the allegation.
