Hi-tech park offers free IT training

The Hi-tech Park Authority will provide IT training to 3,000 people for free. In a statement issued on Monday it said that the training has been offered under a Skill Development Scholarship Programme.

Aspirants have been asked to log into http://goo.gl/cMkDM4 to apply for the scholarship for free training on professional graphics design, advanced search engine optimisation (SEO) and networking. The deadline to apply is Apr 26.

"Initially, 3,000 people will be trained. It will be held in phases until 2016," said Hi-Tech Park Project's director Shafiqul Islam.

Anyone with a graduate degree having preliminary computer knowledge is eligible to apply. But female and those under 30 years will get priority, according to web post by the Hi-Tech Park Authority.
