5 held in Dhaka with wild animal hide
Police have recovered buckskin of different wild animals, firearms and drugs from a house in Dhaka’s Banani Sunday.

Five including two females have been arrested in connection with the haul. They are Afsara Rashid, Rokshanda Yasmeen, Moshaur Jonayed Md Salam, Tushar Depora and Mainuddin.
Police’s Deputy Commissioner (Gulshan) Noor Alam told bdnews24.com that Rashid, Salam and Mainuddin were arrested Saturday night with a stolen car at Banani.
Three pistols were found in the car, he said.
According to the information gleaned from them, police raided a house in Banani where they recovered hides of tiger, crocodile, deer and bear. Two pistols, more than 50 sharp weapons and a huge cache of ‘Yaba’ pills were found, according to police official Alam.
Depora and Yasmeen were arrested during the raid, he said.
