The government shuffled 25 senior bureaucrats on Sunday as part of its plan to tone up the administration.

Seven of them are additional secretaries and 21, joint secretaries.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification regarding the changes on Sunday.
It says that Director General (DG) of Public Library Directorate Nur Hossain Talukder has been made the DG of the Family Planning Directorate.
Additional Secretary of the Internal Resources Division, Ministry of Finance, Kamrun Nahar Begum has been made the DG of the National Museum, while Director General of the Directorate Of Military Lands and Cantonments Mia Abdullah Mamun has been made the DG of the Jute Department.
Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration Sohrab Hossain has been transferred to the education ministry.
Additional Secretary Mohammad Parag, who had been earlier made OSD (officer on special duty), has been appointed additional secretary to the industries ministry.
Executive Director of the Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) Jiannatul Haque has been made OSD.
The orders have been issued with immediate effect.
