78 Jamaat activists held in Bogra
Police have detained 78 leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami, including its district unit chief, in Bogra on charges of acts of sabotage.

Bogra District unit’s Jamaat President Shahabuddin and 12 others were detained from the city’s Yakubia School intersection around 10.30am on Wednesday, police said.
They were preparing for acts of sabotage there, Sadar Police Station OC Faizur Rahman said.
Rest of the activists were detained from other Upazilas.
Those detained were accused of arson and vandalism in the district, police said.
