Bomb attack on ICT-1 Chairman's house

Five bombs were hurled at the building in the early hours of Thursday.

There were no reports of any casualties.

The house is situated in Chamagram village of the Sadar Upazila.

Justice Kabir's brother Golam Kabir said, a petrol bomb was thrown at one of the building windows around 1am on Thursday.

This was followed by explosion of at least four handmade bombs in quick succession.
Chapainawabganj's Assistant Superintendent of Police Ohidul Islam confirmed the attack.
On Wednesday, Jamaat-e-Islami supporters torched the ancestral house of Supreme Court judge Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha in Moulvibazar.
Justice Sinha was in the Appellate Division bench of the Supreme Court that revised Abdul Quader Molla's life sentence to death penalty.
