All eyes set on Supreme Court

The Supreme Court's Appellate Division has started hearing on the stay petition on Abdul Quader Molla's execution.

Hearing at the full bench of the Appellate Division led by Chief Justice Md. Muzammel Hossain started at 10am.

How and when Molla will be executed now depends on the decision of the Appellate Division.

The Jamaat Assistant Secretary General was scheduled to be hanged a minute after midnight on Tuesday but a last-ditch attempt by his lawyers saw the Supreme Court chamber judge stay Molla's execution until 10:30am on Wednesday.
