Fat-tailed sheep now raised locally
Fat-tailed sheep are now being farmed in Bangladesh, including a large farm in Rajendrapur in Dhaka’s South Keraniganj. Started with just two pairs in 2020, the farm now has over 400 sheep. These commercially farmed animals are also expected to help meet demand for sacrificial animals this year.
