Experts warn project success depends on upstream water flow from India
The move is expected to ease dry-season water shortages in the southwest region
Several senior ministers are present at the high-level economic planning session
Government also reviews canal excavation drive and irrigation plans ahead of the dry season
The approved list includes five new projects, five revised ones, and four with extended deadlines
