Google is revamping its social network splitting it into ‘Photos’ and ‘Streams’, raising questions about the fate of its Google+ service.

A Google+ post by the company’s Vice President of Product Management Bradley Horowitz on Monday said he would be running the two services, reports Independent.co.uk.
Google+ was launched in 2011 but regular users were a rarity, making the service remain largely dormant.
Photos and Streams are expected to rebrand popular Google+ services like its photo editing tools and integrate with other softwares.
No announcement on the future of Google+ brand has been made yet but Google’s Products VP Sundar Pichai told Forbes last week that they were planning to split up the service.
