Yamal, Torres score brace in pre-season friendly against FC Seoul

Barcelona crushed FC Seoul 7-3 in a thrilling pre-season friendly, thanks to braces from Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres, with Robert Lewandowski, Gavi, and Andreas Christensen also on target at Seoul World Cup Stadium on Thursday.

The match began with the Catalan giants dominating possession, as Yamal tested the FC Seoul defence early.

In the first half, coach Hansi Flick fielded a familiar Barca side as Yamal, Raphinha started on each flank while Leowandoski led the attack with Dani Olmo behind him.

New signing Joan Garcia also started in the first half and conceded two goals.

In the second half, coach Hansi Flick substituted all 11 players as new signings Marcus Rashford and Roony Bardghji played on the flanks and Ferran Torres led the attack.

Rashford picked up his first assist as a Barca player while Torres scored a brace, taking the scoreline to 7-3.

Academy players Jofre Torrents, Guillermo Fernandez and Antonio Fernandez also played in the second half, as the latter two were substituted in the 78th minute of the match.

The LaLiga champions' next pre-season friendly match is against Daegu FC on Aug 4.
