“I don’t know how long I will be in charge of the ministry. I don’t want to stay long. I will stay only until the election,” the Jatiya Party Presidium member said while talking to ministry officials on Sunday.

The wife of former president HM Ershad sought the staff's cooperation to do her job.

Rowshan, MP from Rangpur, said she would perform her ministerial duties along with running the election campaign.

“We have to do many things during this critical period of the country. We have to work keeping the prevailing situation in mind,” she said.
