Dhaka, May 18 (bdnews24.com)—The government has formed a seven-member advisory council of the National Freedom Fighters' Council headed by the prime minister Sheikh Hasina.
The liberation war affairs ministry notification said on Monday the other members of the council are the ministry's state minister AB Tajul Islam, planning minister AK Khandker, freedom fighter retired brigadier general Md Zillur Rahman, journalist Kamal Lohani, World University vice chancellor Abdul Mannan Chowdhury and special assistant to the former chief adviser of the caretaker government Md Abdul Malek Mollah.
The notification said the advisers' council was formed in accordance with the council's act.
Abdul Mannan told bdnews24.com he had been informed about the advisers' council.
