Comilla, March 4 (bdnews24.com) - A Comilla court Sunday sent former BNP lawmaker Abdul Gafur Bhuiyan to jail.
Bhuiyan, former MP of Comilla-11 constituency, appeared in court at 12:05pm and appealed for bail.
The court rejected the bail prayer and sent him to jail.
Police said Bhuiyan was accused in at least six cases including one for murder.
He was summoned to appear in court by March 5.
