Chowdhurypara lake shrinking

The lake at Chowdhurypara in Khilgaon awaits the same fate as many other water bodies in Dhaka, shrinking by the day due to encroachment. Land grabbers have started constructing tin-roofed buildings with brick walls after setting up tin shacks, shops and car garages by filling up parts of the lake with garbage and soil.
