The inaugural ceremony for the first underwater expressway tunnel, known as the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Tunnel, built beneath the Karnaphuli River in Chattogram, is just around the corner. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is slated to officiate the tunnel's opening on Saturday. Nearly all preparations for the ceremony have been successfully concluded by the authorities.
