Rains herald the start of road repairs

Maintenance and repair work on Dhaka's roads usually begins during the rainy season. An initiative to carry out sewerage repairs has been underway on Kazi Alauddin Road in Old Dhaka for a month and a half. Residents and traders have expressed their concerns over the slow progress of the work.
