Mangal Shobhajatra 1430

Dhaka University’s Faculty of Fine Arts brought out the colourful Mangal Shobhajatra procession through a key road in Dhaka to celebrate the first day of the Bangla New Year, calling for a safe and peaceful world. ‘Borisho Dhora Majhe Shantiro Bari’, the first line of a popular song by Rabindranath Tagore, was the theme for this year’s procession.
