Hasina’s Mujib Year gift

The government handed houses to 66,189 homeless families across Bangladesh following Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s announcement that no one will remain homeless in Mujib Year, the birth centenary celebration of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The families included 74 in Habiganj’s Chunarughat who were handed the keys of the houses and land documents in a ceremony joined by Hasina from Dhaka via video call on Saturday, Jan 23, 2021.
