The Yamaha Riders Club (YRC) has conducted a beach clean-up drive at Cox’s Bazar’s Sugandha Point.

Nearly 400 Yamaha riders, who were participating in the YRC Annual Conclave 2026 organised by Yamaha Bangladesh, joined the initiative on Tuesday, the club said in a statement.

The annual conference, hosted at the Long Beach Hotel in Cox's Bazar, featured a day-long event attended by Yamaha riders from across the country.

Yamaha Bangladesh presented awards to selected riders in recognition of their contributions to social service initiatives during the event.

With International Youth Day observed on Wednesday, the riders took part in the beach clean-up drive at Sugandha Point as part of the conclave.

During the drive, they collected plastic, polythene, and other waste strewn across parts of the beach.

Organisers say the initiative aims to engage young people in environmental protection and social responsibility.

The event was also attended by Subrata Ranjan Das, managing director of ACI Motors Ltd, alongside other senior officials from the company.
