ADB President Nakao to visit Bangladesh Feb 27-28
Asian Development Bank or ADB President Takehiko Nakao is coming to Bangladesh on Feb 27 on a two-day visit.

He will meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Finance Minister AMA Muhith, and other senior officials during the trip, ADB said in a media release on Friday.
He will also visit selected ADB-assisted projects in Bangladesh in the power, education, urban infrastructure, and rail transport sectors.
Bangladesh joined ADB in 1973, and in 1982 became the first ADB member to host a field office.
The Manila-based development bank has approved $20 billion in loans, grants, and technical assistance for Bangladesh until now, according to the release.
