Bangladesh wrapped up their fifth T20I series win of 2025 with a dominant all-round performance, routing Ireland by eight wickets with 38 balls in hand after bowling them out for just 117.
The home side, under pressure after losing the opening match, produced a composed and disciplined effort with both ball and bat in Chattogram.
Mustafizur Rahman set the tone early with sharp left-arm cutters, striking twice in his opening burst, before wristspinner Rishad Hossain tightened their grip through the middle overs.
Rishad removed key batters as Ireland crashed from 50 for 1 after five overs to 73 for 5. The visitors never rebuilt, folding in 19.5 overs.
Tanzid Hasan was central to Bangladesh’s dominance. He became the first outfielder from a full-member nation to claim five catches in a T20I, pouching Ireland’s final five dismissals -- four at long-on and one at gully.
He then anchored the chase with an unbeaten 55 off 36 balls, featuring 4 fours and 3 sixes.
He shared an unbroken 73-run stand with Parvez Hossain Emon, whose steady 33 off 26 balls ensured Bangladesh cruised home to seal the series 2–1.
