Vice-Chancellor Prof Abdus Sobhan told bdnews24.com on Saturday that Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Ananda Kumar Saha was heading the four-member committee.

The other members are Professors Md Shahidullah, Abu Bakar Md Islmail and Nazrul Islam.

Prof Saha, who is heading the investigation, said they already started working.

"I hope we'll be able to submit the report within the deadline," he said.

The committee has been asked to submit a report within 15 days.

Two questions in the test for admission to the university's Faculty of Fine Arts on Sept 25 drew huge flak on the social media.

One of the questions was: What is the greatest book in the world? And four possible answers were given - a) Holy Qur'an. b) Holy Bible. c) Holy Injil. And d) Geeta.

The other question reads: "On which date the Myanmar Army and armed Buddhists attacked Rohingya Muslims?"

Faculty of Fine Arts Dean Mustafizur Rahman said those questions should not have been included on the question sheet.

All the candidates were given the full marks for the two questions, he said.
