Seafood lovers in Dhaka will get a chance to indulge in a lavish spread of seafood dishes as Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan hosts a 10-day Seafood Party from Sept 10 to 19.
The event will feature a wide selection of seafood inspired by coastal cuisines from around the world, including shrimp cocktail, fresh oysters and mussels, tuna and octopus salad, seafood bisque, salt-crusted salmon, seafood paella, prawn teriyaki, fried calamari and freshly prepared sushi, the hotel said in a statement.
A live fish grill will allow guests to choose from a selection of fresh fish and seafood and have them grilled to their preference by the hotel's culinary team.
One of the highlights will be a special crab and lobster platter served directly at the table by Executive Chef Kassem, the hotel said.
The Seafood Party is priced at BDT 7,999 net per person.
Mutual Trust Bank, the event's Prime Partner, is offering selected cardholders a Buy 1 Get 3 deal, allowing four guests to dine for the price of one. For a group of four using an eligible MTB card, the effective cost comes to BDT 1,999.75 net per person.
Selected bank cardholders can also avail themselves of Buy 1 Get 1 and Buy 1 Get 2 offers.
Karthi VK, the hotel’s general manager, said it wanted to create an experience that felt more like a celebration than a regular dinner.
“From the live grill and fresh seafood to the chef-served crab and lobster, there will be plenty to explore, share and enjoy,” he said.
He encouraged guests to come with their favourite people, come hungry and enjoy the experience.
The event is designed for groups of friends and families, as well as those looking to celebrate or simply enjoy a seafood-focused dining experience.
