BRAC Bank has signed an agreement with InterContinental Dhaka to provide employee banking services and benefits to the hotel’s staff.

Under the deal, employees of InterContinental Dhaka will have access to a range of financial products, including salary accounts, multi-currency debit cards, credit cards, personal loans, deposit pension schemes (DPS), and fixed deposit receipts (FDRs), along with other privileges, the bank said in a statement on Saturday.

The agreement was signed at InterContinental Dhaka by Mahiul Islam, deputy managing director and head of retail banking at BRAC Bank, and David Richard O’Hanlon, general manager of InterContinental Dhaka.

InterContinental Dhaka, managed by IHG Hotels & Resorts, is one of the country’s best-known five-star hotels. The hotel has more than 200 rooms and suites, alongside restaurants and other lifestyle facilities.

BRAC Bank said the partnership is aimed at making banking services more accessible to the hotel’s employees while supporting their longer-term financial planning.

Mahiul Islam said BRAC Bank’s employee banking services are intended to help customers manage their finances more easily, access credit when needed and build long-term financial security.

The bank said it is continuing to expand its employee banking services for professionals in different sectors.
