SEC lifts suspension of 14 companies

The Securities and Exchange Commission has decided to lift ban on transaction of 14 issues and allowed them trade in the spot market.

Dhaka, Nov 30 (bdnews24.com) β€” The Securities and Exchange Commission has decided to lift ban on transaction of 14 issues and allowed them trade in the spot market.
SEC, at a regular meeting of the market monitoring cell on Tuesday, took the decision.
The companies are Pharma Aids Limited, Aziz Pipes Limited, Ambee Pharmaceuticals Limited, Bangladesh Autocars Limited, CMC Kamal Textile Mills Limited, The Dacca Dyeing and Manufacturing Company Limited, Desh Garments Limited, Miracle Industries Limited, Mithun Knitting and Dyeing Limited, Safko Spinning Mills Limited, Standard Ceramic Industries Limited, Tallu Spinning Mills Limited, United Airways (BD) Limited and Sonali Aansh Industries Limited.
The stock market authorities also instructed the Dhaka Stock Exchange to allow the issues from Dec 5.
Earlier, the SEC suspended trading of those companies for unusual price hike without any 'price-sensitive' information.
