Government to identify officials accused of propping up Awami League rule: state minister

The state minister for public administration says several investigation agencies are already working on it

The government has begun identifying public servants accused of openly helping the Awami League stay in power longer, State Minister for Public Administration Md Abdul Bari has said.

Responding to a question from Kurigram-1 MP Anwarul Islam in parliament on Tuesday, Bari said multiple agencies were working to identify officials over their alleged pro-fascist government activities.

“The government has a plan to take action against them after identifying them,” said the state minister.
