Court extends deadline for probe report in Mohammadpur double murder

The investigation report is due in court on Feb 19

A Dhaka court has extended the deadline for submitting the formal investigation report in the double murder case involving a mother and daughter in Mohammadpur by a month.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Jamshed Alam passed the order on Tuesday morning after the investigating officer, Sub-Inspector (SI) Shahidul Osman Masum of Mohammadpur Police Station, failed to deliver the report on the scheduled date.

The court has now fixed Feb 19 for submission of the report.

Prosecution Police SI Mizanur Rahman confirmed the development.
