All suspects, including Shamim, remain absconding.
The others named in the case are his son Imtinan Osman Ayon, nephew Azmeri Osman, Ayon’s brother-in-law Minhaj Uddin Ahmed Vicky, former Narayanganj Rifles Club president Tanvir Ahmed Titu, Narayanganj correspondent of private television station DBIS Raju Ahmed, former ward councillor Abdul Karim Babu, former ward councillor Kamrul Hasan Munna, former Narayanganj city Awami League joint secretary Shah Nizam Uddin Ahmed, Jubo League leader Shahadat Hossain Sajnu, Chhatra League leader Habibur Rahman Riad and Sohanur Rahman Shubhra.

The prosecution has brought forward three specific counts of crimes against humanity.
The first charge involves the killing of six people -- Adil, Yasin, student Parvez, garment worker Rasel, and 6-year-old Riya -- on Jul 19, 2024, in areas including Chashara and Signboard under Narayanganj Sadar and Fatullah.
The second charge details the deaths of Abdur Rahman and Mohammad Rakib at the Bhuighar Bus Stand in Fatullah on Jul 21 that year.
The third count concerns the killings of Badiuzzaman and Abul Hasan on Aug 5 of the same year.
The tribunal formally accepted the prosecution's charges on Jan 19. As the suspects are fugitives, the trial is proceeding in their absence.
