President Hamid to leave Dhaka on Saturday for health checkup in UK
President Md Abdul Hamid is leaving Dhaka on Saturday for an eight-day medical visit to the UK.

He will board a VVIP Biman Bangladesh flight to London at 10:30am, said the President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin.
President Hamid will get his eyes checked at London's Moorfield Eye Hospital and do an overall health checkup at Bupa Cromwell Hospital.
The 74-year-old, suffering glaucoma for long, was in London earlier in April to treat his eyes.
The president is scheduled to return to Dhaka on Oct 29.
