Four Bangladeshi hajj pilgrims die in Saudi Arabia

Four Bangladeshi pilgrims have died during their hajj in Saudi Arabia.

The dead are Md Harunur Rashid Bhuiyan, 66, Md Mohsin Ali Pramanik, 71, Md Dinesh Ali Pramanik, 76, and Md Abdul Razzak, 57.

According to the Bangladesh Hajj Mission in Mecca and Medina, Md Bhuiyan, who hailed from Narayanganj, passed away at Medina’s Al Manwara Al Ansar Hospital on Tuesday. His passport number was BN 0589868. His pilgrim number was 1321212.

Md Mohsin Ali Pramanik, who hailed from Natore, died from a heart attack in Mecca’s Al Mukarram on Tuesday evening. His passport number was BN 0392158. His pilgrim number was 0795065.

Md Dinesh Ali Pramanik, who came from Jamalpur, died from a heart attack in Medina on Monday evening. His passport number was BJ 0795086. His pilgrim number was 1029068.

Md Abdul Razzak from Rangpur also passed away at Mecca’s Al Mukkaram on Monday evening. His passport number was OC 0160702. His pilgrim number was 8079901.

Twenty-three Bangladeshi hajj pilgrims have died this year, 17 in Mecca and six in Medina.

According to the Hajj Mission, 97,506 pilgrims from Bangladesh have arrived in Saudi Arabia as of 12am on Wednesday.
