Protest against beef Tehari at BUET

Students of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) have protested after Hindu students were allegedly ‘tricked’ into eat beef.
Over 50 students took part in the demonstration in front of the Central Shaheed Minar on Sunday, boycotting classes and exams.
They demanded punishment of those responsible for the gaffe.
The protesters said the Civil Engineering Students' Association organised a conference called Civil Summit on Saturday night.
They offered the guests, Tehari, saying it was prepared with mutton.

Civil engineering department Chairman Abdul Muktadir told bdnews24.com that a committee was formed to investigate the matter.
He also said the demonstrators agreed to return to classes later when promised action after investigation.
