Cargo plane crashes into sea in Cox’s Bazar, 4 missing

A cargo aircraft crashed into the sea in Cox’s Bazar after taking off from the airport on Wednesday.

The beach town airport’s Manager Shadhan Kumar Mohanto said that the Jessore-bound aircraft, used for carrying shrimp, crashed into the sea around 9:30am.

Four people, including a crew are missing since the incident at the Naziratek Point of the sea, five kilometres off the town, he said.
