Monty, Pantho elected President, General Secretary of DCAB
Angur Nahar Monty of Bhorer Kagoj and Pantho Rahaman of Channel i have been elected President and General Secretary of the Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB).

The new 11-member committee was elected uncontested at the annual general meeting on Tuesday.
Salam Jubair of Sangbad has been elected vice-president while Jhumur Bari of Ekattor TV is now elected joint secretary, AKM Moinuddin of UNB the treasurer, and Mahfuzur Rahman Mishu of Jamuna Television the office secretary.
Israt Jahan Urmi of ATN News, Mizanur Rahman of Manabzamin, Nurul Islam Hasib of bdnews24.com, Rabiul Haque of Manabkantha and Tasnim Mohsin of Bonik Batra are the executive members.
This Dhaka-based diplomatic correspondents’ body was formed in 1998.
