Lt Gen Moinul Islam takes over as new Armed Forces Division PSO
Lieutenant General Md Moinul Islam has been appointed Principal Staff Officer (PSO) to the Armed Forces Division (AFD).

He took charges on Wednesday, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR).
Lt Gen Islam has been working as the Chief of General Staff at the Army Headquarters.
He will be replacing Lt Gen Abu Belal Mohammad Shafiul Huq, who was made the new chief to Bangladesh Army last month.
Islam, a three-star army general, was put at the helm of Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) after the 2009 mutiny at the border force’s Peelkhana headquarters in Dhaka.
The BDR was rechristened to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and its uniform was changed during his term as its chief.
The ISPR media statement said Lt Gen Islam met President Md Abdul Hamid on Wednesday and expressed his gratitude for choosing him as the new PSO.
