Hiron’s wife takes oath Sunday
Jebunnesa Afroz, wife of late ruling Awami League MP Shawkat Hossain Hiron will take oath as the lawmaker of Barisal-5 constituency on Sunday.

Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury will administer the oath at 10:30am, according to Parliament Secretariat.
Afroz won the by-poll held on June 15 defeating Bangladesh Nationalist Front candidate Saiful Islam Liton.
She secured 183, 629 votes while her rival got only 6,136 votes.
The seat fell vacant since Hiron died of brain hemorrhage on Apr 9.
