Six authors received Bangla Academy Awards 2010 on Saturday.

Dhaka, Feb 27 (bdnews24.com) — Six authors received Bangla Academy Awards 2010 on Saturday.
The winners were poets Arunav Sarkar and Rabiul Husain, novelists Anwara Syed Huq and Sushanta Majumder, Dr Abul Ahsan Chowdhury for research and Rafiqul Haque for children's literature.
Bangla Academy director general Samsuzzaman Khan awarded the winners with crests, and prize money of Tk 1 lakh on the main podium of the Ekushey Book Fair at the academy premises.
National professor Kabir Chowdhury presided over the prize giving ceremony.
