Sabina Yasmin returns from Singapore

The country's music icon Sabina Yasmin returned home Thursday after long treatment in Singapore. She arrived in Dhaka by a Singapore Airlines flight that landed at Zia International Airport at 10:15pm, the officer-in-charge of the airport immigration told bdnews24.com. Sabina's family members welcomed her at the VIP lounge of the airport. Speaking to reporters at the airport, Sabina said: "I'm very grateful to you all for what you have done for me. Please pray for me so that I may recover my health and return among you." The singer underwent treatment for cancer for over three and a half months at the National Cancer Centre of Singapore General Hospital under the supervision of cancer specialist Dr Toh Hung Chung.

She arrived in Dhaka by a Singapore Airlines flight that landed at Zia International Airport at 10:15pm, the officer-in-charge of the airport immigration told bdnews24.com.
Sabina's family members welcomed her at the VIP lounge of the airport.
Speaking to reporters at the airport, Sabina said: "I'm very grateful to you all for what you have done for me."

The singer underwent treatment for cancer for over three and a half months at the National Cancer Centre of Singapore General Hospital under the supervision of cancer specialist Dr Toh Hung Chung.
She received chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Her treatment will continue in Dhaka under the supervision of Dr Mufazzal Hossain.
Sabina was admitted to Labaid Hospital on June 12 after she suffered from fever and other symptoms. After examination by a medical board, she was found to be suffering from an infection of the spleen.
She underwent an emergency operation on June 21. But her condition did not improve, and at the suggestion of her doctors she had two biopsies and was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma.
Sabina flew to Singapore on July 11 for treatment of cancer.
