Top terrorist Joy arrested

Kolkata police Saturday arrested absconding Bangladeshi top trerrorist Tanvirul Islam Joy, Indian police sources said. An Indian police source told Bangladeshi newsmen Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of West Bengal police Saturday arrested Joy from a house at Rajarhat near Kolkata and got him admitted to MR Bangur hospital in south Kolkata.

Dhaka, May 7 (bdnews24.com)— Kolkata police Saturday arrested absconding Bangladeshi top trerrorist Tanvirul Islam Joy, Indian police sources said.
An Indian police source told Bangladeshi newsmen Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of West Bengal police Saturday arrested Joy from a house at Rajarhat near Kolkata and got him admitted to MR Bangur hospital in south Kolkata.
Holding an Indian passport, Joy was impersonating as Tarique Rana Joy, a fabric trader in Kolkata for the last one and a half years, the source said.
Working on a list of the most wanted absconding miscreants provided by the Bangladesh government, Indian CID officials picked up some of Joy's associates on March 17 and with their assistance traced Joy.
Indian police detectives appealed at Alipore court for legal orders for hospital admission of the 'most wanted Bangladeshi terrorist Joy' and admitted him at Bangur under special police protection.
