Actor Wasim's daughter commits suicide in city's Gulshan

Dhaka, June 4 (BDNEWS) – Daughter of veteran actor Wasim Sunday allegedly committed suicide in city's Gulshan.

The deceased, Bushra Ahmed, was a student of class eight of Manarat School and College.

According to police sources, Bushra killed herself jumping from the rooftop of the school building at around 11am.

Quoting Bushra's friends, police said that one of the teachers of the school caught her while adopting unfair means during examination and rebuked her (Bushra).

"The teacher took her to the teachers' room and rebuked her," police added.

Javed Ahmed, popularly known as Wasim in Dhakai film, however, did not accused anyone of the Manarat School for the tragic death of his daughter.

"This is irony of fate. My wife expired three years back," said Washim.

"I do not get married further for the sake of my only daughter and son," Wasim said.

The veteran actor took the body without conducting autopsy after taking permission from a first class magistrate.
