Dhaka, Feb 17 (BDNEWS) –Madhyo February Smriti Sangrakkhan Parishad held its annual reconciliation meeting at the Dhaka University campus Thursday.
Leaders of then Sarbadaliya Chhatra Sangram Parishad gathered at Modhu's canteen and recalled the movement against 'Majid Khan Education Commission." They also recalled those, who were killed in police firing on February 14, 1983 in that movement.
Addressing the meeting secretariat member of the parishad Mostak Hossain said, "we dreamt to build a secular state with the spirit of Liberation War and now it is time to review how far that has been materialised."
Former RUCSU general secretary Ruhul Kuddus Babu, former vice president of ECSU, Khandkar Muhammad Faruk, former general secretary of Chhatra League (JSD) Maniruddin Ahmed, former president of Bangladesh Chhatra Union Anwarul Haq and former president of Chhatra League (JSD) Nazmul Haq Pradhan and other leaders of Sarbadaliya Chhatra Sangram Parishad addressed the function.
