The Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR) awards the scholarships every year under different schemes -- Bangladesh Scholarship Scheme, India Scholarship Scheme and Commonwealth Scholarship Scheme.

Candidates are required to have proficiency in English and should have minimum 60 percent marks or GPA 3 out of GPA 5 in the qualifying examination.

Details including the application are available at the Indian High Commission website: www.hcidhaka.gov.in.

The last date of submission of application forms by email is December 10, the High Commission says.

Eligible applicants have to sit for an English Proficiency Test (EPT) on December 12 in Indian missions in Dhaka, Chittagong and Rajshahi.
