Zimbabwe were scheduled to visit Bangladesh for a complete tour in January next year.

BCB and Zimbabwe Cricket agreed to arrange the series in two phases after Australia postponed their visit to Bangladesh at the beginning of this month.

On Oct 7, BCB chief Nazmul Hassan said Zimbabwe would come over for two Tests in November, while the ODIs and T20s would be scheduled for January.

But changes are likely to be made to the revised tour plan too.

The boards are holding talks over the tour itinerary on the sidelines of the ongoing ICC meeting in Dubai, in which the boards worked out the alternative tour plan.

"Zimbabwe are playing a series in their country now (against Ireland). They will remain busy until Oct 29. Meanwhile, the BPL will start here in Nov 20,” BCB's Media and Communications chief Jalal Yunus said at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Monday.

"The Zimbabwe series can be slotted within Nov 1 to 17-18. Organising two Tests and a practice match in this time is difficult.

"So the one-day and T20 series might be arranged next month with the Test series in January."

Yunus, who is also a director of the board, said the BCB chief will confirm the tour plan on his return from Dubai on Oct 14.

"Given the present situation, arranging a one-day series will be more feasible. But discussions are still on.”
