Bangladesh recalls Anamul for Khulna Test

Bangladesh opening batsman Anamul Haque has replaced pacer Al-Amin Hossain for the second Test against Zimbabwe.

The match is scheduled for Nov 3 at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna.

Al-Amin is indisposed due to his undergraduate exams. The report on his bowling action test, which he did in Chennai, will be available during the ongoing series. Whether he will play in the ODI series will depend on the result of the test.

Anamul is leading the BCB XI in Kolkata's Acharya Memorial Trophy. He will join the national team after the BCB XI's last group match on Oct 30.

Bangladesh lead the three-match Test series 1-0.
