REHAB Prsident Alamgir Shamsul Alamin made the demand in a news call on Sunday.

He argued that the option would stop money from being laundered abroad.

"We want the government to stop the sources of black money. But (we want) no more question on the use of black money," he said.

The money-whitening option drew a little or no money to the sector with the imposition of 10 percent fine in current 2015-16 fiscal year.

But he suggested it may benefit the economy in the current scenario of political stability.

The REHAB president also demanded the conditions of 10 percent fine and payment of unpaid taxes be done away with.
